6 and 7 September 2008.
What a busy busy weekend for Jovann! Many mommies say their kid's social calendar is more interesting than our own, I have to say I totally agree!
Sat (its the term break for JG).
10am - Breakfast at OLIO at Alliance Francaise Theatre. Met Cayden there, its been a long time since we met him, and how he's grown!
11am - Rainbow Fish musical at Alliance Francaise Theatre
Letting him run out his energy near the stage before the musical starts.
The theatre was really cool, they provide step stools for the kids to SIT on, so that they can see above the boring adults heads. J set in his for like 50% of the show. the rest, he was either on the floor swaying to music, on my lap, or on Uncle Shawn's lap with A.
LUNCH at Teman Serasi food court at Botanic Gardens
The fish pond above the food court, where the kids said hi to the fishes...
An attempt at a group kids photo.
The mommies gave in, so another attempt at kids+mommy photos.
5.30pm - Takashimaya hehee... had an appointment there. end up J had his dinner very very late that night, around 7.30pm. poor boy, he was so hungry by then. But I must add that he was super well behaved that evening. Even with his tummy rumbling, all he did was held my face between his hands, turn it towards him, and says "mommy mommy! Mum mum...." indicating he wants to eat. He just kept on doing this, gently, with no trace of frustration and anger... I felt so bad...so I kept on rushing the sales rep to wrap up the speech and procedures so we can go have dinner.
Sunday
11.30am Aquaducks (but we skipped this coz no time, and also wanted him to nap well before....).
4.00pm - THOMAS AND FRIENDS LIVE!
Hubby brought Jovann in alone, as I feel the concert will be too loud for baby so I only bought 1 ticket. When outside listening to the finale music, I felt so envious coz it sounds so exciting! When I called hubby during half time, he told me he's buying the Thomas lightstick for Jovann to play, and he don't intend to bring J out coz he's super well-behaved throughout the entire show! his eyes were glued to the stage, and he didn't struggle to get down AT ALL. that was a feat. Even the Barney Live couldn't beat it. I am so happy I decided to bring J here.
Reubern and Rochelle was also here, but at different seats nearby.
Before the show starts, hubby said he asked J if he wants to take photos with the actors. He nod his head yes...
The stage set up was quite magical...
6.00pm till late - Ong's Farewell BBQ!
Jovann and Reubern reached there late after our Thomas concert. Hubby actually rushed there so that J won't miss the waterplay. Only to find out all the kids didn't go into the water yet and don't seem to have the intention to. Knowing J loves water, we fed him some noodles, then changed for him and brought him to the long-awaited water play area. He had such crazy fun there with Reubern before DN, Arianne then Clarence joined in!

The mommies while the kiddos are having a splashing good time at the water play area.
Besides the warm winter scarves we bought for each member of the Ong Family, we also did up a scrapbook for DN. There are 6 pages in all, and each page is hand written by each of the mommies, with at least one photo of their own baby. The idea is so that DN will NOT forget us during the 6 envious months in UK!!! Scrapbook papers courtesy of me, hehee....
DN flipping through the scrapbook of love.
