Rainbows and Gumdrops

Rainbows and Gumdrops! What a lovely name/theme for a party! :)
The 7 families come dressed in 7 colours of the rainbow, or close lah.

Lim Family in Yellow
Peh Family in White
Soh Family in Blue
Chua Family in Orange
Ong Family in Red
Tan Family in Green
Teo Family in PINK!

All of us have duties and roles to play. Mine was the decorator..... haha so I spent some time buying balloons and banners and party hats, and we brought balloon pumps along. End up we had a change of venue (function room instead of pool area coz of the weather) and we were so busy we only inflated 12 balloons hehee...the rest remain in the bag! But I like what was put up though....love the colours!

We were 21 stories up!

This is when J refused to eat much of his fried rice. We started feeding him after he attempted to snatch food from other kids. But he refused to chew!!! See the rice in his mouth? The happy look on hubby's face is not real hahaa...he put it on for the camera. both of us were quite upset with J...sigh....

Grace wisely brought along her amazing bubbles making machine, which kept the kids enthranced and occupied as long as its switched on! Even the adults were mesmerised by the rainbow colours bubbles it emitted. Really pretty....

Hubby fooling with his NEW TOY - i PHONE. :P

Auntie Brenda was of course the food IC, she surpassed herself by preparing gourmet style kebabs of premium sausages with capsicums, pineapples, onions. yummy! aiyah....we so busy eating I didn't take pics of the food! some of the poor daddies have to go down to BBQ the food, and Auntie Brenda helped to bring the cooked food up to those upstairs..

The kids love the cupcakes that Auntie Megan bought, I can't bear to eat mine... the kids were standing eagerly on tiptoes waiting to dig in, while the adults tried taking more and more photos before the cupcakes were mutilated. Auntie Brenda bought hats for every one and they were supposed to wear it to take photos, but few kids were willing to.

A quite supportive of her mommy's hats..hehe..

J is not so happy...

I love this pic, very nice!

A looks murderous... :P

The pretty cup cakes.

J digging in literally with his fingers.

When can I EAT my CUPCAKES?

Hurry!

Happy BIrthday to YOU, Happy BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

The Teo Family in pink.

Auntie June booked a mini theatrette for the kids. Auntie Joanne brought her stock of DVDs and thank goodness the kids were occupied thus for quite a length of time. The mini theatrette is really really cool and cosy...I simply love it coz its so plush, dark, and private.... we can laugh like crazies and much our kebabs in there without the security being non the wiser....ooops..
J looks super blur in this pic. His eyes were glazed and staring at the screen....think he's tired by this time..

Running amok indoors.

Our gift exchange was a finale towards the end, when everyone's fed and happy. It was our joint decision to buy a present for each kid, coz its really nice when all the kids recieve 6 presents each!

Wow what a good haul for J!!!
