Was browsing around with the photos database today to make our calendar, when I came across these photos of J before Jaz is born. In fact, this is taken a month before he sees his little sister for the first time. A few were taken the day after his 2nd birthday celebration, when he was fooling around in the house when opening his presents. We kinda prolonged the pleasure of opening the presents by spreading them out over the few days. These were also taken before we brought him for a haircut, that first haircut during which he didn't cry MUCH. Hubby and I both love this original hair style of his, with his fringe nearly covering his eyes, coz he look guai-er in them. with the shorter hair he's sporting now, he simply looks cheeky hehe.
Cheekily hunched over laughing at something.
This is during one of his cute moments when he suddenly looked dazed and staring into space.
But when I asked him "Jovann, what you doing??!!", he broke into a smile, then a laugh hehe.
These are taken the day of his actual birthday, the day he turns 2 years old. My darling boy. :) We went to FIDGETS, to the zoo and to swimming that day. That was in another blog entry.
Wow I got a THOMAS BOOK!
I love his cheeky smile in this one, when playing with his birthday Thomas balloon.
Want a ride?
Another day, opening the last few presents...
I remember very vividly, these few weeks when Jaz was born, Jovann has some quirky habits which we find very cute.
* He took to singing the Thomas song whenever he is playing with the toys. And when it reaches the part he's most familiar with ".................Thomas and his friends!!!!" he sang it lustily with all his might, and it was the loudest part of the song. We have to teach him to "speak softly" coz his sister just born hehe.
* He took to saying a very cute "I dunno" when we asked him certain questions. He will smile cheekily when he says that, and we can't help laughing coz his accent/tone sounds darn cute.
* He likes to say "Its gone!" when he can't find his toys or a ball or something
* He likes to say "Its too big!" when he can't manage to climb onto our bed at his first attempt.
* Whenever he see bushes or trees or plants, he says "Elephant!" or "Monkey!"
* He started speaking in long sentences, and you can see his effort and concentration in stringing words together to make proper sentences. so cute.
That is my boy that time. :)
